Drop Em Out Sportfishing offers trips for up to 6 anglers. We provide all fishing equipment and gear, you are only need your fishing license. Our boat the Hot Pursuit II is equipped with all the required safety gear available as well a USCG licensed captain.
Captain Mike who lives in Eastern Pennsylvania, has spent his entire lifetime on or around boats and the water in the St. Lawrence River (1,000 Islands Region). From the age of 12yrs old he has owned his own boat and had a passion for fishing all trophy freshwater species. Over the last 10 years he has travelled to Lake Ontario spending hundreds of hours on the lake fishing and learning from top captains across the lake.

What do we do?
We are based out of Wrights Landing Marina located on the west side of the Oswego River in Oswego, NY. Starting in May and continuing into June is when we target Trophy Brown Trout & Lake Trout. By the end of June, we begin to transition from Trout fishing into King Salmon Fishing we pride ourselves in following and catching Kings across the lake wherever they may be for consistent catches.
Fishing with DEO Sportfishing means as the day goes on you can catch fish which range from 15 to 25lbs on the average, with the opportunity for some in excess of 30lbs. Moments like these turn into the biggest smiles, unforgettable memories, and never ending laughs all while loading up your coolers with the freshest fish there is. Fishing on the Lake is like no other adventure you can take while in NY State.
The Fishery...
The Eastern Basin of Lake Ontario is known for producing some of the largest Trophy Catches around. We fish from Mid-April to October pending water and weather, starting as soon as the ice is off the lake.
In the Southeastern Basin of Lake Ontario spanning from Sodus Point to the mouth of the World Famous Salmon River an area known for it's high-action Brown Trout and Salmon fishing. As the season progresses anglers can expect to catch a variety of fish such as Brown Trout, Lake Trout, and Chinook (King) Salmon. You will also find the occasional Coho and Atlantic species in these waters.
